0NPR supports the Beneterre philosophy of Reusable Bags
As the story that aired on NPR’s All Things Considered on August 7th, points out, “But bagger, beware! Not all reusable bags are created equal.” For example, many bags available today are made from recycled plastic and shipped from China. Is this green? Yes and no. The advise of Catherine Greener, an environmental consultant, is the same advice that Beneterre suggests, “Buy the bag that you most personally are going to reuse, because that’s the most important thing.” Just remember to use them!
