    My Thoughts
    As the summer goes buy, the times for picnics, camps for kids as well as soccer nights are filling the days/evenings of many families.  And Beneterre offers fun products to bring a snack or a sandwich with you while participating to these activities.

    The Food Wraps are easy to carry, made of natural cotton and will help to ensure freshness of whatever you put in them.  Recently, my son participate to a special camp for the kids who completed three years of Sparks with AWANA.  The Camp-A-Rama was to be held a full day and I wanted him to have a few snacks just in case.  So I used the Sandwich WrapIt! to include some granola bars and other goodies for him to share with a friend.  I didn’t have to send a sandwich as his lunch was provided.  But having the Beneterre bag helped the snacks to stay in good shape and fresh for the day.  Though I find this product quite interesting, I have concern on how your sandwich would look like at lunch time when it was packed in your bag.  I understand that these days we need to be environmentally careful, that we need to stay away from anything that could contain BPA, but a good old plastic container marker BPA free will protect your sandwich from getting squished.  The other product – the Snack WrapIt! – seems good for a round fruit like an apple or an orange.  However, I have mixed feelings about putting dried fruits and/or nuts in it as I find the bag doesn’t close as good as it shows on the site.  I personally wouldn’t want to find a bunch of granolas at the bottom of my backpack. 

    Nevertheless, it is always nice to have other options for bringing little snacks when you go for a walk in the woods, go to a picnic or simply lay on the beach.  These two products are perfect for that because they are not bulky, will keep your food fresh, and will store easily in your bag!

    Beneterre Cool Wrapit Review by Proverbs31 Mama

    I have another really cool lunch product to show you guys today!  This one is by Beneterre.  Benettere has lots of different food wraps.  In fact, they pretty much have something for everyone!  The wrap that I received for review is the Cool WrapIt - and its pretty stinkin’ awesome! -

    The Cool WrapIt isn’t just a sandwich bag!  Nope!  Its a sandwich bag AND cooler IN ONE!

    How cool is that!!! And it comes with the freezer pack!!!  This is PERFECT for school lunches, work lunches, picnics at the park, trips to the beach, etc., etc., etc!

    The sandwich goes in the front pocket and has a sturdy velcro strip to keep in securely closed…

    And the freezer pack goes in the back pocket (which also has a sturdy velcro strip!)...

    I even think you could use the back pocket of chips, crackers, or cookies, if you don’t want to use the freezer pack one day!  Awesome!  Lunch all in one wrap!  smile

    Oh, and did I mention how stinkin’ cute the penguins are!!!???!!! -

    Pencil Case

    August is quickly approaching and for many of us, this means it is time to start back to school shopping, planning and hopefully not procrastinating. During this demanding time of year it is rewarding finding single products that offer an array of different uses. Finding a product that offers versatility in the way it can be used typically means it will get a lot of use and in turn be a great purchase. I want to share some versatility in the way bags by Beneterre can be used during this back to school season.

    Keep Food Safe in Hot Weather

    There are many dangers that come from food left unrefrigerated for extended periods of time. It is very important to protect yourself, your family, and your friends from food poisoning and illness that can occur during these very warm summer months. Summer is a very popular time of year for picnics; barbecues, cookouts, and sack lunches, so there are many precautions you should take during this time of year to prevent bacteria growth and viruses that occur when food is not chilled to a recommended temperature of 40 degrees.
